THE PEOPLE’S COMMITTEE OF TAY NINH PROVINCE HOSTS SPRING MEETING FOR LUNAR NEW YEAR 2026

In the joyful atmosphere of the early days of 2026, on February 26, the People’s Committee of Tay Ninh Province held the program “Spring Meeting between Provincial Leaders and Diplomatic Agencies, Associations, and Enterprises on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2026.” This annual event carries significant importance in strengthening connections, expressing appreciation, and orienting development cooperation for the new year.

The meeting was attended by former Politburo Member and former President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Truong Tan Sang, along with representatives of diplomatic agencies, associations, organizations, and the domestic and international business community investing in the province.

On the provincial leadership side, attendees included Party Central Committee Member and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Quyet; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Committee Le Van Han; together with members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and leaders of departments, agencies, and localities.

Affirming Determination to Improve the Investment Environment and Promote Sustainable Development

In his remarks, Secretary Nguyen Van Quyet emphasized that despite challenges in 2025, Tay Ninh maintained stability and achieved positive results across multiple sectors. Provincial leaders affirmed that in 2026, the province will continue to uphold political stability, significantly improve the investment climate, place citizens and businesses at the center of service, and resolutely remove bottlenecks to achieve rapid and sustainable development.

Chairman Le Van Han noted that administrative boundary reorganization has opened new development space, aligned with adjustments to the Provincial Master Plan for 2021–2030, with a vision to 2050. Tay Ninh currently ranks second nationwide in reform performance over 20 years of PCI implementation and has remained among the Top 10 most attractive localities for large enterprises for two consecutive years.

Representing the provincial business community, Chairman of the Provincial Business Association Trinh Van Hai shared that enterprises clearly feel the attention and support from provincial leaders through timely dialogue and solutions to difficulties, creating a favorable environment to maintain production and expand investment. The business community remains committed to legal compliance as the foundation for stable development and actively participates in social welfare activities, contributing to a healthy business environment.

Spreading the Spirit of Responsibility Toward the Community

Within the program, provincial leaders honored 97 collectives, individuals, enterprises, and benefactors for their significant contributions to social welfare. In 2025 alone, mobilized social resources exceeded VND 537 billion, supporting the construction of schools, bridges, rural roads, gratitude houses, and charity homes, as well as healthcare assistance, scholarships, and livelihood support for disadvantaged households.

Notably, through the support and resource mobilization efforts of former President Truong Tan Sang, many social programs have been effectively implemented, contributing to the principle of “leaving no one behind.”
