NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL TRACEABILITY SYSTEM OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED – A MAJOR STEP TOWARD A TRANSPARENT SUPPLY CHAIN

On June 30, 2026, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment officially launched the National Traceability System for agricultural, forestry, and fishery products. This milestone marks a significant step in Vietnam’s agricultural digital transformation, strengthening supply chain transparency, improving product quality, and enhancing the global competitiveness of Vietnamese agricultural products.

At the launch ceremony, Government leaders emphasized that digital traceability will enable seamless data connectivity across the entire value chain—from production to distribution—while strengthening consumer confidence and meeting the increasingly stringent import requirements of key export markets, including the EU, the United States, and China. As global market expectations continue to rise, traceability and transparency are no longer competitive advantages but essential requirements.

The nationwide rollout will follow a phased approach, prioritizing key agricultural sectors while ensuring the system remains practical and easy for producers to adopt. The objective is to make traceability a value-adding tool rather than an administrative burden.

For businesses operating in the agricultural sector, this initiative also creates new opportunities to accelerate digital adoption and enhance transparency throughout the value chain.

As part of its strategic expansion into agriculture, Long An GreenTech is committed to developing a sustainable, transparent, and internationally compliant agricultural value chain. In line with the Government’s direction on traceability, low-emission agriculture, and export competitiveness, the company is progressively building an agricultural ecosystem that supports transparent product information and traceability, contributing to greater value for Vietnamese agricultural products in global markets.

We believe that a transparent and fully traceable supply chain will provide a strong foundation for Vietnam’s agriculture to achieve sustainable growth, create higher value, and strengthen its position in the international marketplace.
